Our Approach

We are committed to establishing long-lasting relationships and to have influence over the direction of the projects we support and are involved in. We are not motivated to simply give money or send laborers.
Directaida exists to end poverty and the injustices that cause it. It is how we pursue this lofty goal that makes us different.

Have you ever donated money to a good cause and wondered where it went? Directaida is our way of putting your money to work, without charges or fees, allowing you to directly influence how it is spent, and then actually see the results. Our goal is to be a bridge, connecting you to world missions in a way that is measurable and full of impact, making an eternal difference in the lives of others.

Directaida assists by providing in country volunteers from our partner organizations with projects for various periods of time ranging anywhere from one day to six months. Directaida will place you in institutions which align your interests and strengths with projects where there is REAL NEED for help and assistance, allowing you to maximize your time and experience.
We also aim to help those already in country but without a proactive project or simply need an idea to what to do to maximize your time and money you are spending in Kenya. We provide carefully chosen project ideas for a day to six month period of time that will make a difference.
